una turquesaThe XXXVIIIth edition of the Teatre Ciutat d’Alcoi (2010) prize  has gone to the play La joia by Carles Cortés. On Saturday 12th of june the writer  received the prize. The play was chosen among 32 texts from Catalan speaking regions. The jury underlined “the good fitting of the scenes” and “the  perfect writing of the story”. Besides, they pointed out the dialogue flexibility and how easy it was to perform it with only four actors.
