Once finished reading the trilogy, the reader has the sense of having read a great fantasy. Mental design of a person that has tried for so long to fight for freedom and against the repressive action groups in their society, the Swede, which everyone thinks is a haven of peace and harmony. It is true that political assassinations sharply in that country, as Olof Palme and Anna Lindh, broke the idyllic image that people in other Scandinavian countries.  As everywhere, there are good people and bad, and it is clear that even in the most civilized is hypocrisy and violence, people tormented causing disappointment and bad in others. Larsson’s trilogy is that, a reflection of its society and, by extension, ours, all apparently civilized societies where women and other social groups, has not yet won the equal status for that day many-today struggle. This is the key to the success of Millennium, beyond the myth of the author’s death: the approach of upcoming situations, daily, with live people, who think, doubt and not become at all beings models for anyone. Within a cheerful building the figure of Lisbeth Salander is one element of transgression silent and silenced that allows the reader to deal with the conflicts raised without finding out what her evolution was. The characters are unpredictable and suddenly they live, yes, in a few stories that police searching for the pattern of crime novel, but beyond Millennium.
It is true that the history has ended. Beyond the debate that apparently the family, his partner has a 200-page unpublished, unfinished fourth Millennium, evidence, Larsson’s death, also has his characters died. Is a compulsory silence. Therefore, the reader is faced with an enigma, an involuntary action: raise in your mind that would have been Salander of Blomkvist, and many other characters whose have stayed at the point of no way. Dumb. This is the magic of literature, the freedom to invent and imagine that each think what he wants. Millennium, there will be no more. Will have been, yes, a commercial phenomenon of literary origin, against all odds, the literature has shown that interested yet, still maintains a force in our society enough for everyday life is over, so that everyone speaks of Larsson and mysteries of their stories. Literature, the novel is still alive.
A rightly realize Salander’s character as a person affected by Asperger Syndrome, a character inside that recognizes their relationship problems with people:  ”Lisbeth Salander hid behind a cushion and continued the conversation with a laugh. She wondered why she had such difficulty talking about herself with people that she was face to face, and revealed without troubles her most intimate secrets to an eccentric group of complete strangers on the Internet. ” (p. 376). A contradiction surely does understand much more the way of being and thinking of the protagonist.
